OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - December 21 2005

SHERIDAN -- The funeral for Sheridan resident Jean Rosendahl, 75, will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Dec. 21, at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan by Pastor John Jackson. Interment will be in Sheridan Cemetery.

She died Dec. 15, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Mont.

Born Nov. 30, 1930, in Rapid City, S.D., she was the daughter of Dorothy (Mollenbrink) and Albert Hansen; and, as a young girl, moved to Sheridan with her family. She was educated there and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On Aug. 16, 1948, she married Thomas Rosendahl in Wheatland.

They lived in Sheridan until moving to Great Falls, Mont., in 1954. Her husband preceded her in death in 1984, after 36 years of marriage.

She returned to Sheridan in 1989.

An avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan, she was known for her sense of humor and loved being with her family. She was a member of Sunrise Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael of Murchison, Texas, and Mark of Bloomington, Minn.; daughter, Kathy Kinsey of Poestenkill, N.Y.; sister, Linda Baker of El Paso, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father and a son, Robert.
