Willard -Bud- L. Geer, 81, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan.

Bud was born on January 16, 1930 in Broadus, MT to Gladys (Huckins) and Clark Leroy "Doc" Geer.

He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1948, and later studied advanced training in auto transmission repair for the blind in Denver, CO. Bud married Norma Mae Liming on June 28, 1952 in Sheridan, WY.

Bud was self employed as a business owner and a rancher. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed music and travel.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Belva "Bege" Dilloway, son Robert Geer, and sister Wilma Calkins.

He is survived by his wife Norma of Sheridan, daughter Betty Boudreaux of Grande Prairie, TX, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for Bud will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:45 PM Thursday, August 18, 2011. Services for Bud will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating. Interment will be at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with a reception to follow at Kane Funeral Home Reception Hall.

Memorials to honor Bud may be made to the donor’s choice.
