SHERIDAN-Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan resident Gloria S. Arzy, 72, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Holy Name Catholic Church by the Very Rev. Eugene Sullivan.

She died February 12, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born May 20, 1929, in Kleenburn, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Bova) Varcalli.

Following graduation from high school, she married Ray Arzy in Sheridan.

A mother and homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and embroidery and was known to "whip a mean stitch."

Survivors include her husband of Sheridan; two daughters and their husbands, Carol Webb of Sheridan and Christie Wiseman of Casper; four sons, Joe W. Arzy, Mike Arzy and his wife and James D. Arzy and his wife, all of Sheridan; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Roxy Varcalli, and his wife of Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brother, Joseph.
