SHERIDAN, Wyo. - John W. McKennan, who was custodian at Coffeen School, died Sunday after an accidental fall from a Tongue River bridge. He was 52.

An Army veteran, Mr. McKennan was a member of the Catholic Church and American Legion.

Born in Upton, a son of Rollo and Carrie McKennan, he married Mary J. Kobald. She died in 1968.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie of Lafayette, La.; three sons, Charles of San Diego, Joseph of Moose and Jonathan of Sheridan; two brothers, Stuart of Lansing, Mich., and Wilbur in Colorado; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday in Champion Funeral Home . Burial will be in Custer Battlefield, Montana, on Monday.
