Harry Bruce Marker, 75, died Jan. 17 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

He was born April 11, 1929, to Phillip and Katherine (Miller) Marker in Sheridan.

He and his wife Donna began spending the winters in Lake Havasu six years ago.

He had worked for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department as an environmental specialist in Cheyenne for many years.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Marker was a member of the Cheyenne Rifle & Pistol Club, a member of the National Rifle Association and Rock Hound. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking. He also liked to teach children about the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna; a son, David Bruce Marker of Cheyenne; a sister, Lorna Worswick of Pahoa, Hawaii; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Edith Lou Eaton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
