Sheridan native Kathleen A Legerski, 79, of Casper died Monday, March 16, 2009, at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper with a vigil at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with burial to follow in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.

Born Oct. 3, 1929, in Sheridan to Anthony and Nellie Leo, she grew up here and married Edward Legerski on Dec. 29, 1950, in Hardin, Mont.

They moved to Casper in 1951.

Mrs. Legerski enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping, and spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Betty Newlon and Josephine Garriott; and a brother, Thomas Leo.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Fink of Casper; a sister, Eileen Adams of Gillette; a brother, Jim Leo of Sheridan; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may benefit Central Wyoming Hospice or Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
