Richard Earl Green, Sr., 87, died peacefully on November 13, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his son John James.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Bernie Green of Goodyear, AZ, daughter Connie Ochsner and husband Larry of Palmdale CA, daughter Kellie Green Grady and husband Bing of Albuquerque, NM, son Michael Green and wife Lynn of Fair Oaks, CA, son Richard Green, Jr. and wife Pattie of Dewey, AZ, grandchildren Cory Green, Jake Ochsner and wife Sheila and Callie Ochsner, great grandchildren Adelina and Dario Ochsner, and brother Eldie Green of Sun City, AZ.

Richard was born in Sheridan, WY, served in the United States Navy and raised his family in Albuquerque, NM where he was a painting contractor for many years.

Richard was an extremely hard worker, often working 7 days a week to support his family. His wife and children meant the world to him and he would talk endlessly about them to anyone who would listen. He was a happy, humorous man who left us with many "dadisms" to remember him by. We were lucky to have had him for so many years and have endless precious memories to help us carry on without him.

A private family remembrance will take place in the near future.
