CASPER - At her request, no services will be held for Kathryn "Gert" Doris Fisher, 70. Cremation has taken place. She died July 1, 2000, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.

She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Douglas, to Karl Joshua and Doris Lucille (Enyeart) Engstrom. She attended high school in Estes Park, Colo., and Sheridan. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1951 with a master's degree in education.

She married Warren Duane "Boo" Fisher on June 24, 1951, in Estes Park, Colo.

She was employed as a draftsperson for Superior Oil Company from 1955 to 1967. She stopped working to raise her family.

She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and PEO Sisterhood Chapter G, an organization that promotes education.

Survivors include two sons. Randy Usher and Kevin Fisher, both of Casper.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in February 1999.
