SHERIDAN -- Funeral Liturgy for Frances M. Wright, 77, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2006, at Holy Name Catholic Church with Fr. Ron Stolcis as celebrant. Interment will be in the Masonic No. 8 section, Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Vigil service is at 7 p.m. today at Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

She died June 11, 2006, in Sheridan Manor.

She was born Sept. 29, 1928, in Kleenburn, to Michael and Katherine Tekla (Jyunickoi) Byrtus. She grew up in Sheridan and attended Holy Name Catholic School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1947.

She married James Richard "Dick" Wright in Sheridan in 1948. She was a homemaker and raised five children.

Her husband died in 1978 and she went to work as a nurse's aide at Sheridan Manor, where she worked for the next 13 years before retiring in 1991.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening but especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include three sons, James B. Wright of Fort Collins, Colo., and Richard and Patrick Wright, both of Sheridan; two daughters, Teresa Hunter of Sheridan and Kathy Trilli of Garden City, Kan.; one sister, Stella Coffman of Sunset, Utah; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Memorials may be made to Holy Name Catholic Church, 260 E. Loucks St., Sheridan, 82801.
