Edward BRANTZ 1928 - 1998 SHS 1947

SHERIDAN - Services for lifelong Sheridan resident Edward Brantz. 70, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immauucl Lutheran Church by the Rev. William Heine. Burial will follow in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

He died Dec. 25. 1998, at West view Health Care Center.

He was born July 28, 1928. in Sheridan, the son of Paul and Mahalia ( Parot) Brantz. He attended school in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On July 31. 1950. he married Catherine A. Fiedor in Hardin. Mont.

He owned the City Liquor-OK Corral liquor store for 27 years.

He enjoyed singing, writing poetry, hunting and fishing, and operating his business. He especially enjoyed spending lime with all of his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wile ol Sheridan; four daughters, Carol llenson of Sheridan, Gloria Scherry of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Cheryl Hubbard and Diane Ford, both of Cheyenne; three sons, Ed of Sheridan, Thomas of Gillette and Donald of Cheyenne: three brothers, Paul and Harold, both of Sheridan, and Walter of Cody; and 21 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; a brother, Andrew; and a grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Whedon Cancer Foundation or Immanuel Lutheran Church, in care ol Delphine Toner, P.O.Box 2007, Sheridan 82801.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kane Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
