STORY, Wyo. - Betty Lois Smith, ' 61, died Monday in Sheridan County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Sheridan, Wyo, a daughter of Roy and Irene Billings Stout. She attended schools in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On June 26, 1976, she married Harley Smith in Buffalo. They made their home in Story.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael D. Matto of Buffalo; a daughter, Mrs. James (Marilyn) Potts of Buffalo; a sister, Leona May Kraft of Marshall, Minn.; and six -grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m.; Thursday in the Story Women's Club in Story with burial in the Elks Cemetery.
