SHERIDAN -- A memorial service for Sheridan resident Marjorie Claudine Noecker, 76, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, June 29, at Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

She died June 24, 2005, at Westview Health Care Center.

Born Nov. 16, 1928, in Dayton, she was the daughter of Lola (Achenbach) and William M. Sack; and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1946. She then attended business college.

In 1959, she married Jerome Noecker in Reno, Nev. The couple raised a son, Daniel, and daughter, Sharon.

She lived in Concord and Lake Tahoe, Nev., before returning to Sheridan in 1994.

A public service volunteer, she enjoyed golfing, needleworking, reading, playing games, and traveling.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Noecker, and his wife; two grandchildren; four brothers, William, Don, Jim and Ken Sack; and sister, Nancy Laughrey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Sharon Dixon; and two sisters, Wilma Burns and Dorothy Hall.
