SHERIDAN - Services for Mariam V. Meredith, 68, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Champion Funeral Home by the Rev. Ted Tromble. Interment will follow at the Elks Cemetery.

Mrs. Meredith died Sept. 14, 1994, at Sheridan Manor.

She was born July 12, 1926, at Oxford, Neb., the daughter of Emil Albert and Alice Mable (Hays) Regelin. The family moved to Sheridan, where she lived for 65 years.

On Sept. 4, 1946, she married George L. Meredith at Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Meredith was a homemaker and loved family gatherings. An excellent cook, she also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and country music.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George L. who died June 19, 1990; her parents; and her brother, Raymond F. Regelin.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula L. Bumbaca of Sheridan; five sisters, Roberta Crocker, Phyllis V. Smith, Lucille Clark, Leona Buck and Regina Fauber, all of Sheridan; one half brother, Ronald Regelin of Nevada; one grandson; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials to either the Elks Cemetery Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. Donations may be made in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007 Sheridan 82801.
