Former Sheridan resident Patsy N. Rifenbery, 78, of Louisville, Tenn., died May 1, 2007, in Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in the Maryville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Clearfield City (Utah) Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with Smith Mortuary Co. of Maryville.

Mrs. Rifenbery was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Highland Park PTO in Sheridan, Wyoming Association of Cosmetologists, and the Navy Widows Association in Sierra Vista, Ariz. She served as an auxiliary volunteer at Weber Memorial Hospital and the Life Care Center in Sierra Vista.

She was an avid genealogist and historian.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Marble Rifenbery; a sister, Merle Crayne; and a brother, Edgar Morgan Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl R. Spencer of Louisville; a stepson, Charles Joseph Rifenbery of Georgia; two brothers, Donald Morgan of Wyoming and Robert Morgan of California; a sister, Phylis Davis of California; seven grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
