Olga Marie LEGERSKI Pilch 1928 - 1995 SHS 1946

Olga Marie Pilch, 66, died June 13, at her Sheridan residence.

She was born July 11, 1928, in Kleenburn, to George and Anna (Zowada) Legerski.

She was raised and educated in Kleenburn, and graduated from Sheridan High School. She went on to earn an associate’s degree in science and business from the University of Denver.

She married Walter Pilch on Aug. 28, 1955, in Sheridan. They owned and operated the Arrowhead Lodge from 1955-68. They sold the lodge, and she continued involvement in the family businesses.

She enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

She was a member of the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital Ladies’ Auxiliary, the BPOE DOES, the American Legion Auxiliary and Holy Name Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Walter Pilch Jr.

She is survived by her husband of Sheridan; two sons, Tom and Mike of Sheridan; her mother of Sheridan; four sisters, Elizabeth Stanko of Gordon, Neb., Anne Presenkowski of Denver, Erma Pagliocca of North Bergen, J.J., and Helen Siegoski of Buffalo; three brothers, George Legerski, Roman Legerski and John Legerski all of Sheridan; and two granddaughters.

Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Champion Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church, with the Rev. Eugene Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Elks Cemetery.
