Ralph Loyd HUTSELL 1923 – 1990 SHS 1946

CASPER - Former Wyoming resident Ralph Loyd Hutsell, 67, of Ava, Mo., died Aug. 2, 1990, at his home in Ava after a short illness.

He was born July 10, 1923, in Hamilton, Neb., to Robert Lee and Gertrude Mae (Hutton) Hutsell.

Mr. Hutsell was a retired manager of the general store in Shirley Basin and in Casper.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the National Rifleman's Association. He also was a life member of the Elks Club in Sheridan and was actively involved in supporting the Republican Party.

His wife, Mary Hutsell, preceded him in death in 1977.

On May 2, 1981, he married Sandra Holden in Shirley Basin.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by five children: Sharon Thompson, Centerville, Utah; Mark Hutsell, Laramie; Ross Hutsell, Loretta Hutsell and Loyd Hutsell, all of Ava; and two grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.

The Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava was in charge of arrangements.
