RED LODGE - Mary M. Hay and her husband ranched on Red Lodge Creek for 35 years.

She was a registered nurse and worked at the Carbon County Hospital for 16 years and from 1980-84 she also worked part-time at Carbon County Memorial Nursing Home.

She was a member of the Birthday Club at Rock Creek Village, Red Lodge Senior Citizens, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Hospital Guild in Red Lodge and a volunteer for Festival of Nations for the past three years.

She enjoyed children and raising flowers.

Mrs. Hay, 62, died of kidney failure due to diabetes Monday in Carbon County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Dietz, Wyo., a daughter of John and Elizabeth Hutchinson. On Feb. 18, 1950, she married Donald Hay in Billings. He died Nov. 12,1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Deanna) Fendler of FL Devens, Mass., and Debra Hay of Red Lodge; two sisters, Doris Richards of Sheridan, Wyo., and Dorothy Kautz of Missoula; a brother, Cliff Hutchinson of Sheridan, Wyo.; and a granddaughter.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be at a later date at the Olcott Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge.
