SHERIDAN -- Funeral services for Marianne Legerski, 79, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Doolin officiating.

She died Oct. 25, 2006, at Sheridan Manor.

She was born July 9, 1927, in Upton, to Wray and Leora (Hallowell) Case. The family moved to Sheridan when she was about 6. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

On July 6, 1952, she married Frank Legerski in Sheridan and they raised four children together.

She worked at First Interstate Bank as head housekeeper for almost 20 years. In 1982, she won a trip to Hawaii from Brown Swiss Dairy.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, her daughter, Marilyn Oryall and sons, Steve Legerski, all of Sheridan and Carl Worth of Haxton, Colo.; four grandchildren, her sister, Nadine Zowada of Buffalo and two brothers, Dawson Case of Ranchester and Thomas Case of Sheridan.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, 82801.
