Glen Bennick, 83, of Sheridan passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his residence.

Glen was born on October 31, 1928 in Buffalo, WY to parents Fred J and Ella (Krout) Bennick. He married Rose Mary Gillis on November 27, 1948. He worked as a Public Accountant and for Wyoming Sawmills from 1965 - 1992.

Glen volunteered at Holy Name Church for many years and was an officer in the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golf, bowling, his cat "Buddy" and being with family.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Mary, an infant son, Michael, his parents; Ella and Fred, and brothers; Milton and Franklin Bennick.

He is survived by a sister Mildred and his children; Mary, Glen and Connie, Celia and Jeff, Mark and Lynn, Jim and Barbara. Along with eighteen grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary for Glen will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Kane Funeral Home with Father Ron Stolcis officiating. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Ron Stolcis officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow immediately in the parish hall. Private graveside services will be held at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Memorials to honor Glen may be made to the Sheridan Dog & Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Rd., Sheridan, WY 82801.
