SHERIDAN -- Funeral services will be held for Darleen E. Anderson, 79, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2007, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ward 2, with Bishop Roger Brinkerhoff officiating. Interment will follow at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Kane Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 14, 2007.

She died on Dec. 11, 2007, at Sheridan Manor.

She was born on Feb. 5, 1928, to Benjamin E. and Vera May (Miles) Allgire in Topeka, Kan.

She and her family moved to Big Horn when she was two years old. She graduated from Sheridan High School and went on to the Heiman Business School.

She married Everett H. Lohrbach in 1943, then Donald M. Cline from 1949 until 1960, both of which ended in divorce. She later married Robert W. Anderson in 1977 and the two were married until his death in 1994.

She worked for the CBQ Railroad, the forest service, the Silver Spur Cafe and Ritz Sporting Goods lunch counter. She also worked in the Sheridan VA Medical Center nursing home where she made many friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna C. Lacy, Diana M. Cline, Denice M. Rollins and husband and Darice E.M. Rollins all of Sheridan; step-daughters, Kristy Lewis and husband and Lisa Anderson both of Sheridan; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, JoAnn Allgire and Marie Scheuer; brother, Donald D. Allgire; husband, Robert, and her grandson, Zachary T. Noecker.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in her name to the Lion's Eye Bank, 2510 E. 15 St., Suite 6, Casper, WY 82609.
