Mar. 31, 1927 - June 23, 1982.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Frank Wardle Jr., 55, a retired registered nurse who had worked in the Sheridan VA Hospital, died there Wednesday.

A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Wardle was a member of VFW, Elks Lodge, American Legion, Eagles Lodge, Scottish Rite bodies and Shrine Club.

A Sheridan native, son of Frank and Alice Wardle, he married Donna Michaels in 1957 in Kalispell, Mont.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Elizabeth Lee O'Conner of Cheyenne; a son, Daniel Alan of New Orleans, La.; his mother, Alice I. Murdock of Sheridan; two sisters, Ruth Cleavenger of Flemington, W.V., and Kathleen Wakefield of Shalimar, Fla. ; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Champion Funeral Home with burial in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
