SHERIDAN - Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan resident Mary J. Waisner, 77, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan by Fr. Ron Stolcis.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan. Inurnment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 25, at the funeral home.

She died Oct. 22, 2004, at Sheridan Manor.

Born Feb. 27, 1927, in Kleenburn, she was the daughter of Andrew and Eva (Washut) Michalek.

After completing her education, she married Glenn Waisner in Sheridan.

She was devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening, flowers, baking, and spending time with friends. She belonged to the Council of Catholic Women and Holy Name Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sister, Helen Legerski of Cheyenne; a niece; and nine nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Matilda "Tillie" Walker and Anne Wantulok; a brother, Pete Michalek; a nephew; and a niece.
