SHERIDAN - Private memorial services have been held for Anna A. Wyatt, 72, who died Jan. 29, 2000, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was born July 1. 1927. in Sheridan, the daughter of John Jay and Rose Marguerite (Shrader) Johnson. She lived most of her life in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.

She married William Wyatt on Sept. 4, 1965, in Sheridan.

She enjoyed helping people and her greatest enjoyment in life was sending time with her family.

She was employed at the Sheridan Press for more than 20 years before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband, Nilo Bates; two sons, Bobby and Sammy Bates; her sister. Barbara Burkhardt; and a brother, Harry Johnson

Survivors include her husband of Sheridan, a son, Mike Bates of Wiggins. Colo.; three daughters. Sherry Fairweather of Fort Worth. Texas. Patty Mueller o! Fort Morgan. Colo , and Angie O'Brien of Sheridan, three brothers. John Johnson of Houston, Charley Johnson of Las Vegas and George Johnson of Sheridan. 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were with Champion Funeral Home.
