SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Sheridan resident Irene Clara Wilson, 76, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan by Fr. Ron Stolcis.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

She died Sept. 28, 2004, at Westview Health Care Center.

Born April 27, 1928, in Sheridan, she was the daughter of Charles and Catherine (Eckerman) Jacobs.

On Dec. 26, 1962, she married James T. Wilson. The couple raised five children.

A member of Holy Name Catholic Church, she enjoyed tole-painting, working crossword puzzles, spending time in the Big Horn Mountains, and horse-racing.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years of Sheridan; four sons, Steve Overgaard and his wife of Sarasota, Fla., Alan Wilson and his wife of Chattanooga, Tenn., and David and Thomas Wilson, both of Sheridan; daughter, Kathryn Harrison, and her husband of Sheridan; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
