William Perin Heagy, 85, passed away at his home in Issaquah, WA on Thursday, November 24, 2011.

He was born in Sheridan, WY on October 15, 1926 to Perin and Cathryn (Robertson) Heagy.

William was married to Katherine E. Steinke for 55 years. She preceded him in death in 2002.

On February 19, 2006 he married Marjorie Houston Shreve in Union, WA.

William served in the US Army during WWII. He had worked as a Civil Engineer for the Federal Highway Administration in Wyoming, California and Washington and for the US Navy Defense Department, retiring in 1988.

He was a member of the Alderbrook Country Club and enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family in Arizona during the winter months.

He had attended the Union Community Church while living in Union, WA.

William was preceded in death by his wife Katherine Heagy in 2002, his daughter, Diane Leigh Heagy in 1970 and his brother, Jimmy Lee Heagy in 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Shreve of Issaquah, WA, his son, William P. Heagy Jr. of Bakersfield, CA, his daughters, Jean van Bladeren (Ron) of Vancouver, WA and Linda McGonigal (Larry) of Bakersfield, CA, his sister, Wilma Shelton of WA, his sister-in-law, Maxie Heagy of Sheridan, WY, stepdaughter, Laura Calvin of College Station, TX, stepson, Ken Shreve of Sammamish, WA, his aunt, Jeannie Kuhlman of Mesa, AZ and nine grandchildren and numerous nieces, and nephews.

At his request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of McComb Funeral Home, Shelton, WA.
