Aug. 9, 1926 - July 25, 1980.

Don S. French, Sheridan native and a rancher at Blue Creek, Mont., died Friday at Deaconess Hospital in Billings.

He was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Sheridan and grew up in this community.

He had ranched in Montana for the past 30 years.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his mother, Gladys French, Big Horn; three sons, Doug, Roy and Herb, all of Bozeman, Mont.; two daughters, Mrs. Tim (LaDonna) Sterling, Lawrence, Kan., and Roxa Anne French, Hardin, Mont.; two sisters, Patricia Foss, Story, and Betty McKenzie, Otter, Mont.; and three grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Big Horn Cemetery. Henne Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Friends may call at Henne Funeral Home until noon Tuesday.

Memorials may benefit the library of the donor's choice.
