Tudor Edwards Jr., 67, of Billings, died Monday, Jan. 10, 1994, at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness. Tudor was born a son to Tudor Sr. and Mae Rankin Edwards on May 18, 1927, in Gebo, Wyo. Tudor grew up and attended schools in the Sheridan, Wyo., area. Tudor worked with his father and brother at Tudors Cleaners in Sheridan for many years before moving to Billings.

He served in several branches of the service from 1945 to 1957. He retired in 1967 from the U.S. Army Reserve at the rank of captain.

He married Mary Elizabeth Boyle "Bette" on June 30, 1956, in Sheridan, Wyo. In 1959, they moved to Billings where he worked in the Billings area for many years before retiring from MDU.

Tudor was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards but most of all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Bette Edwards; four daughters and their husbands, Mary Beth and Dennis Martin, Kathy and Ken Weber, Terry and Joe Murphy, all of Billings, and Jeannie and Pat Dunn of Sidney. He was blessed with eight grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Aric, Jennifer, J.J., Malore, Shawn and Jessica.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. "We Love You Grandpa."

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Neuhardt-Happ Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Mountview Cemetery.
