Jack Lee COLLINS 1926 - 1990 SHS 1945

CASPER- Masonic services for Jack L. Collins, 63, of Casper will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home by Pathfinder Lodge No. 42 AF&AM. Burial will follow at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Collins died May 26, 1990, at Wyoming Medical Center following a long illness with cancer.

Born Dec. 3, 1926. in Venice, Calif., he was the son of James K. and Edna (Lee) Collins. He was reared and educated in Sheridan, where he graduated from high school in 1945. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until 1947.

After his discharge he came to Casper, where he worked as an ironworker until 1967. During that time he worked for W.C. Kind and the Pittsburgh Des Moines Co.

On Nov. 27, 1963, he married Margaret Small in Casper.

In 1967, Mr. Moore was employed by the Metropolitan Life Collins Insurance Co., from which he retired in 1985.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf, and was a member of the National Rifle Association, Pathfinder Lodge No. 42 AF&AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies, the Wyoming Consistory No. 1, Korein Temple of the Shrine, Casper Shrine Club, the Korein Oriental Band, and R.O.J. Court No. 148. He was a past president of the Oriental Band and the Casper Shrine Club.

Survivors include his wife of Casper; two daughters, Jackie Nordquist, Calgary, Canada, and Debra Williams, Casper; one son, James K. Collins, Casper; seven grandchildren, Janel, Kelly, Jennifer, and Chad Williams and Ashley Collins, all of Casper; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, George "Joe", Ralph and Earle, and two sisters, Beulah Thompson and Ber-nice "Barney" Cook Kalinski.

Flowers or memorials to the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital or the Central Wyoming Cancer Treatment Center and Hospice Program would be equally appreciated by the family.
