SHERIDAN - Funeral services for Sheridan resident Doris May Brown, 74, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Sheridan by Fr. Stuart J. Crawshaw.  Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today.

She died Oct. 5, 2002, in Deaconess Billings, Mont., Clinic.

Born Feb. 6, 1928, in Sheridan, she was the daughter of Guy and Madge (Stevens) Brown; and was raised and educated in Sheridan.

>From 1974 until her retirement on June 30, 1995, she was employed at the Michigan National Bank.  At her retirement, she was a special projects manager in the facilities department, where she was responsible for ordering furniture, equipment and signs for branch and department renovations throughout Michigan.  She had worked in various areas of branch operations for the last five years.  Prior to that, she had worked in the Branch Operations Center in Lansing, Mich.; and earlier, for Federal's Department Store in Lansing.

In 1996, she returned to Sheridan to be near her sister, Patricia Ward, who survives her.

She enjoyed working in her garden and loved animals.
