Alice Louise ADSIT Randall 1928 - 2015 SHS 1945

HARDIN â€" Alice Adsit Randall, 87, of Hardin, passed away Sept. 25, 2015.

She was born the third child of Earl and Charlotte Adsit on the CX ranch near Decker, her grandmother LaToush as the midwife. The family later moved to Ranchester, Wyo., where Alice started first grade, the next seven years she attended Big Bend School near Kirby. She finished her schooling in Sheridan Wyo., graduating in 1945, staying with her aunt Emily.

Alice was always a hard worker, as a rancher’s wife, waitress, and retiring as Hardin High School Cafeteria manager after 20 years. She enjoyed a variety of activities including gardening and yard work, winning a prize for having the best flowers in Hardin. She was a very talented woman and mastered at quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting and rug making. She loved to bowl, and she took fourth in the nation in Syracuse New York for senior bowler.

Survivors include her son Donn (Julianne) Randall of Pine Bluff, Wyo., and their two children Alicia and Troy; her daughter Karen (Robert) Nedens, of Billings and their three children Jeff Jestin, and Jennifer; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Gladys Pilch and Hazel Henry and brothers Glenn and Ray Adsit.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at 11 a.m., Oct. 2 at Fairview Cemetery.
