OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - October 16, 2001

SHERIDAN - Funeral services for Sheridan resident Silviano Trujillo, 75, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy
Name Catholic Church by the Rev. Ron Stolcis.  Interment will be in the Eagles section of Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kane Funeral Home.

He died Oct 13, 2001, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

He was born Sept 12, 1926, in San Luis, Colo., the son of Jose and Amadita (Montoya) Trujillo.  He lived in San Luis until age 16, when his family moved to Sheridan.  He graduated from high school in Sheridan.

On Nov. 21,1941, he married Cirea Sanchez.

He worked for Husman Inc. for 46 years before his retirement.

He loved the Big Horn Mountains and especially, his family.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, visiting with his friends and his children's friends, fishing, hunting, woodworking and gardening.  He was a lifetime member of Eagles Lodge No. 186 and Knights of Columbus No. 2014 and a member of the CC Camp.

Survivors include his wife of Sheridan; four sons and their wives, Silviano Trujillo Jr. and Andy Trujillo, both of Sheridan, Norman Trujillo of San Diego and Silviano Trujillo III of Sheridan; two daughters and their husbands, Josephine Rosalez and Elizabeth Lewis, both of Sheridan; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ben Trujillo, Eddie Trujillo and Ernie Trujillo, all of Sheridan, and Sam Trujillo of Gillette; and five sisters, Ruth Timmerman of Denver, Bertha Ligocki and Alice Sosa, both of Sheridan, Rose Hall of Billings, Mont., and Susie Westika of Sheridan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Delia Morales, Celia Rodriguez and Josephine Archuleta.
