BOZEMAN. Mont. - Memorial services will be held later for Betty Lou Sterling, 74, who died peacefully at her home in Bozeman on April 6. 2000. Cremation has taken place.

She was born March 2, 1926, in Buffalo, to Charles L. "Lew" and Myrtle Brokaw Sterling. In 1929, the family moved to Sheridan, where she attended school. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1944 and enjoyed participating in her class reunions.

She worked for Dr. Walter Landis for many years before his retirement. She then worked at Dr. Larry Lidahl's office before working at Sheridan Commercial and Golden Crown. S

he participated in the Sheridan Drum and Bugle Corps and enjoyed crafts.

Survivors include her sister. Mary Helen Lewis of Ola the, Kan.; a brother, Robert Sterling of Albuquerque, N.M.: a niece; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister. Margaret Working,
