Alice Evelyn Ketron, 84, of Sheridan passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2011, at Westview Nursing Home.

Alice was born to William Earl Robertson and Mae Urmson in Sheridan on November 2, 1926. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1944.

Alice married Thomas Eugene Ketron on September 25, 1945 in Hardin, Montana. They resided in Sheridan, Wyoming until 1985 where she worked for numerous businesses and they then retired to Cottonwood, Arizona.

They returned to live in Sheridan in 2001.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents; her four brothers, Gene, Bud, Smokey and Ray; and her husband Tom.

She is survived by her two sons; Tommy Lee (Li-Wei) and Ron (Cindy), five grandchildren; Mayling, Sean, Pei-Pei, Benjamin and Lacey and one great-granddaughter; Ruby.

Alice will be cremated and inurned next to her husband at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A memorial and celebration of life service will be held later in the summer. Memorials may be sent to The Church of Christ on Big Horn Avenue.

Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
