James R. "Jim" REDMAN 1926 - 2013 SHS 1944

James R. "Jim" Redman, 86, of Cheyenne died April 6 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 31, 1926, in Clearmont and had lived here nine years, with prior residences in Sheridan and Casper.

Mr. Redman served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Redman worked as the national sales manager for Edward Don Company in Chicago. He was a salesman of restaurant and institutional supplies.

Mr. Redman was a member of Cheyenne Church of Christ, where he served as an elder. He enjoyed watching Denver Nuggets basketball and traveling.

Mr. Redman is survived by his wife, Margaret L. Redman of Cheyenne, whom he married April 7, 1946, in Sheridan; one son, Jim Redman of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Kathy Allen of Chaing Mai, Thailand, Mary Elizabeth Milstead of Downers Grove, Ill., and Jane Seaman of Cheyenne; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lester and Elenore Redman; and two sisters.
