Everett Lincoln Mock, 58, Sheridan native died Wednesday at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born Nov 23, 1925, in Sheridan.

He had worked for the Geiger-Peters Steel Construction Co. in Indianapolis from 1972 until 1977. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the VFW, John Donald Garbutt Post No. 7, American Legion, of Sheridan, Sheridan Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include a son, E. Lee Mock, Campbellsport, Wis., a daughter, Kathleen Vinup, Indianapolis; a sister, Stella Schriver, Chambersburg, Pa; a brother, Robert, Sheridan; and three grandchildren.

Services 1 p.m. Monday at Flanner-Buchanan Shadeland Mortuary in Indianapolis.

Memorials may benefit the Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
