Former Sheridan resident Juanita Francis Baas, 82, of Lawton, Okla., died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

No services are planned. Arrangements are with Becker Funeral Home in Lawton.

Born April 6, 1927, in Bridgeport, Neb., to Orvin and Bertha (Bricker) Lundy, she married Floyd Louis Baas in Sheridan on Jan. 6, 1945.

She was employed as a bank officer for First National Bank of Dallas for 15 years before her retirement.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Lundy.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diana Stamper of Indiahoma, Okla.; a son, Dan Baas of Prosper, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Isaackson and Betty Weekley; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
