Robert entered into Heaven on January 21.

He was born in Sheridan, Wyoming to William Clarence Grimshaw and Raghnhild Ekstrom. He was one of eight children.

He is survived by his wife, Alice of 62 years; children, Lynn Grimshaw and Phillip Grimshaw; one grandchild, Robert John Stanley; sisters, Jean Brent and Nancy Hebrew and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Grimshaw; sisters, Grace Chathom, Esther Meredith, Fern Hancock, and Lyla Murdent.

Robert was a World War II veteran and a member of Modesto Engineers Club and Calvary Lutheran Church. Bob was a wood craftsman and used his engineering skills for many home projects. He enjoyed making wine and sharing his knowledge with others.

Robert was a faithful Christian and a gentle, caring, compassionate man. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 4, at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA.
