CANTON - Thomas Ray Stevens, 81, of Canton and formerly of Vancouver, Wash., died Sept. 16, 2006.

A U.S. Navy veteran, he was a retired commercial truck driver.

Survivors include: wife, Geraldine Stevens, Canton; son, Ronald Stevens, Vancouver, Wash.; stepson, James Smith, Canton; stepdaughters, Glenna Peebles, Vancouver, Wash., and Mary Clements, Canton; brother, Dolan Stevens, Sweet Home, Ore., numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and inurnment will take place at a later date in Vancouver, Wash.

Olson's Mortuary, Canton, is in charge of local arrangements.
