ROUNDUP - Donald McSweyn ranched in the Central Montana area and had lived in Roundup since 1959. He became involved in oil and land properties in 1965 and had enjoyed ranching, fishing and the outdoors.

Mr. McSweyn died Thursday evening in Billings Deaconess Medical Center after a long illness.

He was bom in Sheridan, Wyo., a son of Norman and Beatrice McSweyn. He lived in the Birney area with his parents and graduated from Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Wyo. He then entered the Navy and after his discharge attended Montana State College in Bozeman for a time.

He married Nancy Ross on Feb. 21, 1961, in Powell, Wyo.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Brandon (Dawn) Smith and a son, Jim McSweyn, both of Roundup; two brothers, Leonard of Shepherd and Norman of Bellingham. Wash.; and a granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
