Miss Eleanor Jean McCarthy of Phoenix, Ariz.; died there yesterday at the age of 24.

She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. McCarthy of Phoenix, formerly of St. Joseph.

She lived here until she was six years old and then lived in Wymore, Neb., and Sheridan, Wyo. before going to Phoenix.

Services will be held in Phoenix tomorrow.

Survivors are the parents, a brother, Ronald, of Phoenix, and her maternal grandfather, Frank L. Hawk, rural route No. 4, this city.
