SHERIDAN -- Graveside service for Patricia P. Sickler, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with Capt. Lisa Gill officiating. Inurnment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Friends may call for viewing and visitation today from 4 to 6 p.m., at Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

She died Nov. 10, 2006, in her Sheridan home.

She was born March 17, 1925, in Seneca, Neb., to William and Laura (Westering) McKelvey.

She moved to Sheridan with her family as a young girl. She grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan.

She began work at Memorial Hospital as a lab and X-ray technician.

She married Henry Sickler Sr., on Dec. 11, 1945, in Hardin, Mont. Later, she returned to Memorial Hospital and worked 35 years as a nurse's aide and ward clerk until she retired.

She was a member of the Diamond Rebekah Lodge No. 8/Silver No. 6, VFW Auxiliary and Royal Neighbors of America. She was past noble grand and past district president of the Diamond Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Grand Lodge of Wyoming.

She enjoyed bingo, cooking, baking, candy making, reading and embroidery.

She loved spending time with her family and she loved the holidays.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, sons, Henry Jr., of Sheridan and Ed of Buffalo; daughters, Mollie Kluver of Recluse, Bessie Moore of Sheridan and Pandy Sears of Sheridan; a brother, Don McKelvey of Thornton, Colo.; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a special niece.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert William and John Andrew.

Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
