Leroy Buster LUNDY 1925 - 1991 SHS 1943

SHERIDAN - Services for Leroy Buster Lundy, 66, will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Champion Funeral Home by Pastor Terral Bearden, with graveside rites by Elks Lodge No. 520 at the Elks Cemetery.

Mr. Lundy died April 19, 1991, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Sheridan after a long illness.

He was born March 13, 1925, at Bridgeport, Neb., to Orvan E. and Bertha (Bricker) Lundy. He was raised in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1943. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was discharged Feb. 18, 1946.

He married Marjorie Sabotka and they were the parents of three children. They were later divorced.

Mr. Lundy enjoyed collecting antiques and was interested in American Indian history and jewelry.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling and was a member of the American Legion and Elks Lodge No. 520.

He is survived by one son, Larry Lundy of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Linda Wiley of Port Orchard, Wash., and Cheryl Huston of Deer Lodge, Mont.; three sisters, Juanita Baas of Bella Vista, Ark., Betty Weekley of Broomfield, Colo., and Nancy Fletcher of Sheridan; and five grandchildren.

Memorials to the Elks Cemetery Fund in care of Elks Lodge No. 520, Sheridan, Wyo., 82801, would be appreciated by the family.
