SHERIDAN - Funeral services for Margaret Myers. 75, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kane Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home.

She died Oct. 15. 2000 at Westview Health Care Center after a long battle with cancer.

She was born Sept. 6, 1925, in New York City, to Grace Doran and Kay Jorgensen. In 1943, she graduated from Sheridan High School and then went to cadet nurse's training, where she graduated in 1946 as a registered nurse.

She loved to help anyone who asked and enjoyed volunteering. She enjoyed gardening, especially planting blue spruce trees, visiting antique malls, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always up for any travel or adventure.

Survivors include one brother, Charles Jorgensen of California; four daughters. Linda Pruett of Sheridan, Patti Martini of South Dakota, Debbie Martini of Fort Worth, Texas and Marjorie Hoffman of Reno, Nev.; two sons, James Myers of Phoenix and Chuck Myers of Sheridan; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Myers of Sheridan.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice on her behalf.
