In World War II Bob joined the Navy, served in the Pacific theater, and returned to be married in 1946. They moved to Indiana where Bob attended Indiana Tech, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering.

In the early 1980’s they spent six months living in Saudi Arabia while Bob was assigned to the Saudi government as a engineering project Manager with Mountain Bell. They brought back many fascinating stories about their experiences overseas.

In 1981 they retired to Sun City where they enjoyed the good weather, golfing, home projects, and frequent visits from friends and family.
