She was born in Pine River, Minn., a daughter of Joseph and Beulah Bennett DeJarlais. She attended schools in the Minneapolis, Minn., area and graduated from Sheridan High School.

On Dec. 16, 1944, she married Fred J. Lenz in Hardin. He died in March 1981.

Survivors include a son, George "Skip" Lenz of Sheridan; a daughter, Mary Catherine Lenz of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a sister, Helen Puett of Sheridan; a brother, Gordon DeJarlais of ElmhursL DL; and a granddaughter.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church in Sheridan. Champion Funeral Home is in charge
