Robert Lloyd Cook was the son of Lloyd Elmer Cook and Euna Patience Patrick.

Robert enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was reported as missing in action in Bougainville, Papua New Guinea on December 17, 1944.

He is survived by his parents, wife, Phyllis and daughter, Lucretia Jeanne.
