SHERIDAN, Wyo. - John Paul Bury, a self-employed carpenter, enjoyed horseshoes, fishing and hunting and a member of Elks and Moose Lodges.

Mr. Bury, 61, died Wednesday in Sheridan Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

Bom in Monarch, a son of Joe and Mary Hilbreck Bury, he married Lois M. Ketcham Dec. 24, 1946, in Hardin, Mont, and graduated from Sheridan High School.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debbie Paterakis of Gillette; two sons, John D. and James R., both of Sheridan; a brother, Joe of Sheridan; and five grandchildren.

Private family services will be at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
