Patricia L. Ward, 82 of Sheridan, passed away on September 18, 2009.

Patricia was born on November 14, 1926 to Guy and Madge Brown in Casper, WY. She married Wilbur Kenneth Ward on December 26, 1954. Wilbur passed on March 16, 1957.

Patricia loved the outdoors, camping, music, gardening and her dogs.

Patricia worked as an accountant in Cody, WY for Marathon Oil until returning to Sheridan to take care of her mother in 1988.

Her dog Emmie who she cared for deeply lives at the Kibbee Ranch enjoying a wonderful life.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Kane Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Stuart Crawshaw officiating.

Graveside services will follow at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, WY.

In lieu of f lowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.

Kane Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
