Retired Voice Professor, Truly Barr Nelson, 76 of Denver, died March 30.

She is preceded in death by husband, Philip Nelson.

Survivors include sons, David (Mary Lou) and Eric Nelson; daughter, Susan Nelson; brother, Robert Barr; grandchildren, Jason and Christopher Nelson and Dustin Durkin.

She was a Voice Professor for more than 30 years at the University of Denver.

Memorial services Thursday, 3 p.m. at Olinger Wadsworth Chapel (N.E. Corner). Services will conclude in the chapel. Private interment, Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
