Mildred Arnold Netherton, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at the Sheridan Manor. Mildred was born in David City, Nebraska on March 22, 1925, to Thomas B and Lillian Franklin Arnold.

She married Carl David Netherton in Harrison, NE. on September 26, 1964.

She was employed by Stevens Fryberger, Dr. Booth and Dr. Ritola until she moved to Arizona. In 1979 they returned to Sheridan, where she was then employed at First Interstate Bank.

She enjoyed doing crafts, flowers, playing slot machines, eating out, sitting on her patio and visiting with friends, and caring for her dog, Cody. She was a member of the Congregational Church.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Betty Hargis, Doris Arnold and brother in law, Earl Onkka.

She is survived by her husband, David Netherton, of Sheridan, children, Sue Blanchard, of Pueblo, CO., Patricia Ahl, of Sheridan, WY, Bill (Connie) Blanchard of Billings, MT., and Charles (Audra) Blanchard of Woodridge, IL, sisters, Mary (Charles) Chartray, Hillsburo, OR, twin sister Margaret Onkka, of Sparks NV., ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Private Family Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
